(1) No insight on if this person came in for a visit or not, (2) would be interesting that it's a WR. Not sure if that's tipping the hand of WRs underperforming or staff isn't concerned about losing guys further down the depth chart with this add.

Looking at his PFF grades, he would be a really good #3 WR. Probably would be the best trio of WRs on Illinois' roster in my lifetime.

It's really tough to compare the current passing eras to any of the past because of the volume. For example, Isaiah had 82 catches last year - Lloyd + Young combined had 104 catches. 2023 Tip Reiman had 19 catches, which was more than Morehead had in 2001. Just depends on how you want to look at it (and want to wax nostalgic about 2001 days).

Not necessarily "waxing nostalgic" about 2001 but all four of those receivers played professionally and some for many years.

Would be a nice addition. It is very important to get bowl eligible again. I love that BB is still looking to upgrade the roster

to answer myself , his coach at Utah St was just fired so he had a week to visit a few schools .
it’s supposedly between us & OleMiss .

he’s quite a punt & kick returner as well as WR .

we have no open schollies right now , so it’s an issue of how much NIL we can get to him . it might all turn on that

Not saying "nu uh" but I'm just learning to have faith the coaching staff can build a good roster of guys who want to be here because it's always going to be a challenge to keep players.

Well, all 4 played in the league, and Lloyd was a borderline star. If one of the current 3 makes it in the NFL that would be a pretty good accomplishment
