Not a high ranking but COVID certainly affects that. Several P5, mostly SEC offers so that's a good sign.
Interesting to note. His better offers wanting him to play defense worries me less with an RB than a QB or even a WR. RB is a very athleticism-focused position, and if he's got a bunch of SEC offers to play defense, he's a good athlete.McCray is a solid get for us. A number of P5 offers, but most of those programs wanted him to play defense. He will be a RB here.

Also fitting that the connection to the kid is the schools DC reaching out to BB, who previously connected with BB when he was HS coach in Wisconsin.Interesting to note. His better offers wanting him to play defense worries me less with an RB than a QB or even a WR.
Bret Bielema's first commit is a big, bruising runner. Sounds about right.
A certain advantage of having a coach who is actually a known commodity in the college ranks. Also fitting that the connection to the kid is the schools DC reaching out to BB, who previously connected with BB when he was HS coach in Wisconsin.

Yep, looks like a very nice pickup. And can always flip him to D if doesn’t work out on offense. But really like getting a big back.Interesting to note. It’s nice to look at the first recruits offer list and it isn’t Toledo, Florida Atlantic and Akron.

Refusing to change that profile pic until we win a Big 10 Championship, huh?
More active than Lovie? Thats a low bar lol.I may have to go back and listen again, but in the Cory Patterson interview, Jeremy Werner asked about how the recruiting pitch changes with a new head coach, and it sure sounded like he was convinced BB would be more active and more into recruiting. Said something along the lines of, "..... He knows how to do this recruiting thing....."
That's because I recruit with the big boys.
Any recruiting news out there?
According to Wallace's timeline I believe we were the first to offer him.Trying to land some big fish, Ayodele Adeoye and Trevin Wallace, stay tuned...
You can never have too many Hanks on your team. I support this offer.Illini just offered 2022 WR Hank Beatty from Rochester.
