Illinois 31, Nebraska 24 OT Postgame

So after watching highlights, I think that McCray "Stick em" catch was easily one of the most important plays of the night. I mean wow we have the unreal interception in the endzone, the fridge moment, and the three sacks in overtime, but talk about putting us in a position to go for it, and then later score to tie late in the 3rd.
Dude the catch was maybe the greatest "4-5 yard catch that didn't make a first down" haha. Unreal

Video highlight compilations - 2024 season (Nebraska game added)

I have created a playlist of Youtube highlight clips from this season. The page is better suited for laptop/desktop screens. Click any highlight instance on the left menu to see the clip. I will continue to update this after Illini games this season.

🏈 Passing Touchdowns (10)
🏈 Rushing Touchdowns (4)
🏈 Interceptions (7)
🏈 Sacks (6)
🏈 Forced Fumbles (6)
🏈 Key Passes (15)

Dude this is awesome - you need to to start a new thread with this because this is going to be lost buried in a 30 page post game thread otherwise.

For the first time in years the starters can go to sideline and their backups look like they belong on the field for a power 5 team. Special teams have really been turned around.

But ultimately.... You guys so out coached us especially on offense.

That was the worst effort by our defense in 15ish games
We didn't know we had it in us. You just ran into a team that pulled everything together at the right time. You're good. You will win a majority of the rest of your games.
