What does that ^^^^ mean? Games that come down to 1 possession determining the outcome? Coming down to a final possession? A single possession at any point in the game being the deciding factor? The final score will be 8 or less? Enlighten me.....

I’m guessing it means games where neither team is projected to be more than 7 point favorites

I have never heard of that before either

I don't know how to look up who has coverage of what games, but I was wondering if anyone knew who had the Illinois/Purdude game? The time is still TBD, but I thought I might be able to narrow it down by looking at the station. Thanks for any insights.

Time is usually set based on the network I believe so no network yet either. It'll probably get announced Sunday after either the Penn State game or the Nebraska game (forgot if the schedule is 2 weeks or 3 weeks out).

A quick news update on the ticket tracking front that I'm super excited about. The amount of time that I will spend counting green dots going forward is about to decrease significantly! Today I stumbled across a twitter account (@GreenDotWatch) - go check them out - and this account is my obsessed-with-ticket-tracking brethren. Whoever created it tracks primarily South Dakota St tickets and has completely automated a daily refresh of how many "green dots" remain for every home game on SDSU's schedule. And the tweets that get sent each day with the refresh are completely automated as well.

A few DMs later, and I now am able to get at the available ticket data behind the Illinois ticket website, saving me hours of counting green dots. Thanks, @GreenDotWatch! Now, as we all know, Illinois doesn't show all truly available tickets on the site as a green dot at any given time. I'll still need to monitor what rows are being "held back" for a later release and adjust my figures/estimates accordingly, but I can live with that.

I really like Pat Bryant. Very charismatic, well spoken, seems really clued in to what's up, smart... I hope he has a monster season.
I don’t know if the Illini alum, co-founder of YouTube spent time with more players than Bryant on his visit, but I was a bit surprised Pat was one of those prominent in the foreground. After seeing some recent clips, now I’m not surprised at all.

Fun random fact I just saw on the Instagram account called matchuptracker. Illinois’ last conference championship in football (2001) occurred more recently than the following programs, lol.

Nebraska (1999)
Tennessee (1998)
UCLA (1998)
Texas A&M (1998)
Arkansas (1989)
Missouri (1969)
Kansas (1968) 😏
Minnesota (1967)
Indiana (1967)
Ole Miss (1963)
Iowa State (1912) - longest streak in the country

If we hadn’t crapped the bed in Iowa City in 2007, we’d have another one and would have also passed up these teams:

Iowa (2004)
Miami (FL) (2003)
