Ty still has to be considered a non-shooter until he proves otherwise in a game.
With the depth and relative talent parity of this roster, playing time will likely be decided by effort and decision making. Everyone is just guessing until we can see it on the court.

The next few weeks plus the first 6-7 games should allow the coaching staff the opportunity to mix and match several different lineups to get a feel for what works best in certain situations...that along with opponents team match ups will go a long ways in determining starting line ups and dictates who gets the most minutes....wouldn't be surprised to see 6-7(maybe even more) different starting line ups throughout the year
In game results is all that really matters. We have heard lots of praise about players in practice and scrimmage the past few years that never transpired to the court in actual games. We will find out after half a dozen games or so if Ty is going to have any sort if jump shot that will have to be respected.

Hum isn't a 5, and a spot up shooter isn't starting over our only Elite 8 team vet who started the entire year.
I agree, practice work ethic, intensity and results matter. Just need to see similar results on game day. That's the jist of what I am saying.

It's been noted by insiders that he could play "small ball 5." Obviously Ivisic and Morez are our 5s, but there may be a few minutes where Hum (or Booth) plays the 5 (even though they are 4s).

Brad has so many good options he's probly pinching himself. yeah, we need to bond into a cohesive unit (chemistry), but we have a helluva good coach. am not too worried on that front (chemistry).

While it's only summer scrimmage footage, I think one thing that's going to blow us away this year will be our offball movement. Humrichous and Ty especially look like they're going to be surgical offball, and Ivisic's tape suggests he's going to be a major plus in that regards as well. With KJ's vision which was highlighted well in those videos and ability to distribute, and Kylan's ability to drive and either finish or kick, this offense has a very very strong chance to be the most effective motion we've seen out of a team since 2005, and I do not say that lightly. This team will be an offensive dynamo and should have insane offensive chemistry- should be some phenomenal team basketball. And if Ty has that consistent jumper, and KJ plays like he's a guaranteed NBA fixture as the videos suggest, as crazy as this sounds, we might somehow be a better offensive team than last year.
Defense will be a concern until we see our guys in action, but if we can even be just decent on that side of the floor, this could become a pretty special year. Again, it's only summer, and it's only scrimmage, but we're looking way better and much further ahead than I thought we would at this point and Ivisic and Riley aren't even in camp yet.

Humrichous is not a spot up shooter. Much more than that. Could easily lead the team in scoring.
This is what some of the insiders have indicated the starting lineup will be. OTOH some of those same insiders have said that Ty will start.
