We stopped them once. We can do it more times. We need to get the running game going again second half. Other backs need to step up in place of McRay.

He's made a lot of great throws.
Looks slow of foot so some pressure would be welcome but it's not happening
They're not bringing extra pressure and I'm not sure why? Unless you think that their receivers are too much for our DBs, you have to mix it up and heat him up. He's proven clearly that he can go through his progressions and make the right play. If they don't speed him up, it's going to be a long second half.

This is how so much of announcing is these days. I feel they just settle on a particular narrative before the game, and then the announcers keep hammering on it all game regardless of what is happening on the field.
Nebby QB has been 16 of 20 with 2 TDs — and would have been 3 save for a great INT — since an 0 for 3 start. Why wouldn’t they be talking about the frosh QB in glowing terms a lot? The excessive Mahomes comparisons are a little silly, but the kid is very good. And they’re giving Luke plenty of love when Illini are on offense.

Does every team have bad calls like we seem to, or is it just us? Am I just biased and don;t see it from other teams perpectives? You absolutely CANNOT miss that Facemask. Everyone in the stadium saw it.

It’s nice to have a game to reinforce that we belong on the national stage! I had hopes after Kansas but this solidifies it for me as long as we keep this up until the end!

Missed face mask call is at least a 10 point swing. When the ball boy calls the face mask and the refs seem to miss it…..that’s a blatant problem.
Lots of Neb penalties early and the refs gave us many of them. Think we reached the part of the game where the refs are not going to call a foul every play so they will just keep committing them.

The color guy is a complete idiot. Raiola did a great job buying time, but that was a low percentage throw that he got away with. Not happy down 7, but if Raiola has that decision making in the second half, then turnovers are coming...
If Scott doesn't fall down it would have likely been intercepted. If he keeps making those types of throws we will make him pay for it.
