They've clearly decided they're fine with Kofi shooting FTs, anytime he catches in the paint the just start fouling.
Until the refs start calling them they won't stop. PL lus if Kofi doesn't shoot FTs better they may still not stop.
We have hit a few shots and are now shooting 40%, about the same as Indiana. We need to get Kofi going in scoring and on the boards. We need to win the battle on the boards.
I remember about a month ago when we were one of the top rebounding teams in the country (#2 I believe). We are being out-rebounded 14 to 16 in this game. Since we won the battle of the boards by 11 against the Huskers, we have been lost the battle on the boards in most games: Michigan 32 vs ILL 33, Purdue 46 vs ILL 39, Maryland 33 vs ILL 30, Mich State 41 vs ILL 27, NW 30 vs ILL 36, Wisconsin 38 vs ILL 36.
Need to be better on the boards, especially with Indiana's foul trouble on their big boys.

As someone who is highly reluctant to offer criticism of officiating, I will say that this crew simply does not know the rules of the game. Guys like this should not be calling games...anywhere...without being required to attend officiating boot camp for about a year or two!! Also grossly in need of vision update, or else they are making calls that on a game being played elsewhere.
Didn't look like he was thrilled with Belo's reaction to the trip.
Not a good half, but we’re in it.

Thompson did a real good job guarding Kofi the last few minutes of the half. I'd rather have TJD guarding Kofi, frankly.
