The whistle down low will only be called if Courtney Green isn't on the baseline. I thought Bo was bad, but Courtney Green is hands down the worst ref in the B1G

Indiana is only up because of the 3-5 point swing from the missed trip and flagrant 1. Kofi is going to have to bring it in the second half with TJD back in.

This win would be so huge for us, as they all are right now, let’s go boys!

They are guarding the 3 and perimeter very well. Kofi needs to hit those shots he missed. Plus Belo needs to drive and finish or dish. Belo and Kofi are who need to finish or make shots for others when doubled. I know Kofi was hacked but he still needs to finish. Belo miss 2 or shots he usually makes inside ,a few feet. If they do the 3s may be a little more open. Indiana is picking their poison right now. We need to finish and hit FTs

Love Kofi, but Indiana challenged him before this game and he has not responded at all. That needs to change in the second half.

One glaring point to be made from the stat sheet. But my first observation, especially in light of TJD being on the bench for a millennium, is that Kofi should have gotten the ball twice as much. However, for the touches he did have, he can't shoot 2-7 with 1-4 from the line and only two boards if this team is to win. Indiana is not a talented team but this crowd will urge them to a high level of confidence if they can get a foothold. Kofi has to get the ball a ton and be willing to pass to open shooters. Defense was acceptable, but offense was too weak. Well, we got one guy we know is not weak.......use him!

And this is a better team when RJ plays more min. Very impressive and all teammates need to learn his game and welcome him to the floor....he makes them better.

Agree. Even though it gave Iowa a loss the call Green made to decide the Rutgers Iowa game was one of the worst I have ever seen.

Kofi will get going. What we REALLY need is him to start hitting his free throws. Starting to look more like sophomore Kofi from the line than freshman Kofi.

At what point does Belo trip Bo as he's back pedaling to let him know it's just part of normal reffing?

Really disappointed with the offensive rebounding — or rather lack of it. For the most part I’d say Indiana out played our Illini. Really discouraged by that considering TJD’s foul trouble. Hopefully some halftime adjustments and more inspired play by those in the orange in blue can bring this thing home.

So far, Kofi hasn’t been a difference maker on defense in the paint. So slow to elevate, slow lateral movement and not altering shots. His presence in the paint on defense isn’t being felt and 14 points in the paint with TJD out for IU needs to improve.
