I really feel sorry for that kid- the advice he got was so wrong.

Kinda crazy to see the level of programs our transfers are at. To think at least a number of them transferred because of PT that list is heavily P5 influenced.

Just my 2 cents worth, but for Miller, Skyy, and Amani, it is MHO that they would have been much better off having stayed at Illinois and worked their tails off to do everything the staff asked them to do. I guess it is getting harder to find kids with room in their heads to understand that as their egos fill up too much space. Not sure that take fits Amani as he would be in for a ton of minutes this season and did not appear to have an ego problem, but sure did in with the other two.

It’s definitely a fair take with miller and skyy. I’m not sure Amani would really have a huge path to playing time this year though. Maybe we wouldn’t have booth, but probably still have Tomi, Morez, and Humrichous

I liked Amani but I don't really see him being an impact player. He's just a very undersized 5 that's not athletic enough to guard on the perimeter. Maybe he could have more success going to a smaller conference but I don't see it at the power conference level. He does have a nice shot and seems tough though.

The Miller decision was baffling since he was a starter playing heavy minutes on a #1 seed and has been relegated to obscurity now as a 5th year guy.

Skyy just seemed like he had to deal with some maturity issues and realize that he wasn't the same athlete and player that he was pre injuries.

Niccolo Moretti scores a team high 19 points, 3-4 from the arc, 5 rbs, 4 assists as FAU beats Indiana State 97-64.

Fantastic opener for him!
