His lower body strength seemed otherworldly that day. Edey couldn't back him down.I will always remember BBV as the one player who " semi neutralized" Edey

Starting as a freshman on 1 seed in the NCAA tourney team and about to be handed the keys to the car..... Colossal misstep to transferI really feel sorry for that kid- the advice he got was so wrong.
Boy did he ever.I really feel sorry for that kid- the advice he got was so wrong.

Damn right.I like Goode. I wish him nothing but health, wealth, and abundant happiness. And I hope this is his worst on-court season of his career.
The portal changed a lot of things, but it hasn't changed how I fan. This year, he is the enemy.
him and Richmond are the two most bewildering decisions in recent memory for meI really feel sorry for that kid- the advice he got was so wrong.

More likely he now realizes his next job is dependent on how professionally he behaves in this one. At some point the real world forces everyone to grow up.the NIL changed him

It’s definitely a fair take with miller and skyy. I’m not sure Amani would really have a huge path to playing time this year though. Maybe we wouldn’t have booth, but probably still have Tomi, Morez, and HumrichousJust my 2 cents worth, but for Miller, Skyy, and Amani, it is MHO that they would have been much better off having stayed at Illinois and worked their tails off to do everything the staff asked them to do. I guess it is getting harder to find kids with room in their heads to understand that as their egos fill up too much space. Not sure that take fits Amani as he would be in for a ton of minutes this season and did not appear to have an ego problem, but sure did in with the other two.
I liked Amani but I don't really see him being an impact player. He's just a very undersized 5 that's not athletic enough to guard on the perimeter. Maybe he could have more success going to a smaller conference but I don't see it at the power conference level. He does have a nice shot and seems tough though. It’s definitely a fair take with miller and skyy. I’m not sure Amani would really have a huge path to playing time this year though.
