Thank you Bears for that ⭐⭐⭐⭐️ comedy show. Great stuff! Just fold the entire franchise at this point lol

It's one thing to be aggressive like that in the 1st half. You take the points in that situation in the 2nd half.
He clearly didn’t think the defense could stop Denver. I’m not upset they went for it, but the play call was dumb. For all intents and purposes, this is it for the Eberfluss “era”. It would be justifiable to can him this evening, but I don’t know who would possibly replace him.

And that's part of the problem. You could fire him but there's not anybody on the coaching staff that I think they would have faith in to replace him, even on an interim basis.

Your much maligned quarterback has the best game of his career by far and completes 16 straight to start the game. You're up 28-7 in the 2nd half and still find a way to lose.

Only the Bears

Wasn’t able to watch the game but saw the highlight of Fields fumble. I guess he’s should secure the ball better but realistically, what’s he supposed to do when a guy comes unblocked and is Fields grill as soon as he turns around? Oh and there was another guy coming from the other side too.

The fumble was more on lack of blocking than Fields ball security. In fact, there were Denver rushers coming off the edge unblocked for much of the game.

He FINALLY got his swagger back was absolutely feeling himself then they take the ball out of his hands until desperation time and say go make a play. Malpractice

In the “there is always a silver lining” column, the First 2 Picks train keeps chugging along.
Given the play and the leadership of the Chicago Bears, it's highly likely that Caleb Williams will never agree to terms with Chicago, perhaps giving the Bears some immense trade value for one of the top picks.

I actually felt some sympathy/empathy for Fields The fumble and final interception were painful reminders
I can see why they went for it , if you can no convert 4th and 1, you are in in pretty sad shape
Given the shape of the Bears best to take the points, and make them drive the lenght of the field

Too many weekends in my life have I had to endure the pain of both an Illini and Bears loss.

Mark your calendars. Could be a key game in the battle for draft picks.

Not really... We already have their #1.

Regarding going for it on 4th down....

Why does no one else run the "push" play the Eagles run? It only works 100% of the time for them. Do they have special skills that make it work (Kelce/Hurts), or is everyone else just too dense to try it?

We have a 6'5" 230 lb QB, and we run a handoff from shotgun...
