I agree that as a coach he is a D, but I don't know how you know that his D is so bad. jk
Claypool is a healthy scratch and I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the comments he made earlier this week. Bagent as the #2 doesn't have to do with Fields performance from what I've read.

I think it was or should have been. Teams don’t trade a big starting WR in midsession when they have a rookie QB unless there is an issue. Poles should have known.
Looks like the cure for the Bears offense, at least to this point, is the Broncos defense.
Fields just broke the franchise record for completions to start a game, going 16-16.
I don't want to overreact since Denver's defense is more putrid than the Bears but that was a damn good half of football
