Claypool is a healthy scratch and I wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with the comments he made earlier this week. Bagent as the #2 doesn't have to do with Fields performance from what I've read.

The rest of today's inactives:

An additional layer to the Claypool story:

What did the Bears give up for Claypool? The Steelers after a season quickly recognized he wasn’t worth the drama. Steelers are an organization that for the last 50+ years have had success because they have an identity and steady leadership

The Bears don’t have the leadership to handle drama. Very few teams can handle drama long.

Steelers fleeced us on him , getting essentially the 32nd pick in last years draft , which is normally a 1st round choice

the dumbest move of his tenure .

he must be a terrible presence in the locker room and practice field . how was that not known ?
I think it was or should have been. Teams don’t trade a big starting WR in midsession when they have a rookie QB unless there is an issue. Poles should have known.

Fields looking like an AllPro vs the only team worse than the Bears

Payton’s face is as orange as his visor

I don't want to overreact since Denver's defense is more putrid than the Bears but that was a damn good half of football
