Indiana has a very good offense, a very meh defense, and a great schedule that has given them the ability to play loose (house money) when the tough games arrive.

One thing is certain now: if Michigan wins tonight, we will certainly have a shot at a single-digit ranked team (maybe two weeks in a row depending on what happens with Oregon/Ohio State next week). We will have two straight opportunities for a true signature win.

So who was it again that said there wouldn't be any 2 loss teams in the Playoffs ?!?!?
A very straightforward look at the final pre-bowl ranking from any college football season ever would have easily disabused that notion.

And the top teams play each other MORE now in the new world than they used to.

The war on the CFP committee is going to be whether 10-2 ACC/Big12 teams or 9-3 B1G/SEC that are very obviously better are going to get the 9-10-11 seeds.

Looking back a few years at top 15ish in the polls, and with the state of the game today (more parity), I'd not even be surprised to see a 3 loss team make it in.

It was me, but at least get it right. I didn't say there wouldn't be, I just said I would be shocked if there was. But when I said that I was thinking it was still a four team playoff. But hey go ahead and crucify me!
