Good call. A Persian Penelope Cruz.

Life is on Netflix. Worth checking out. Alan Arkin is also in it. Good show. Was really pissed when it got cancelled. 'Course that led to Lewis availability for Homeland and season 1 was epic.
I agree. i thought it lost a lot of storyline and momentum after season two kind of lost direction and I must say i have not watched Homeland at all this year. Lewis is in a show called Billions now. gonna binge in a couple of weeks and see.

Two more episodes to go in Season 4 for Breaking Bad. Fantastic television.

Bosch, season 2, drops March 11th. Catastrophe, season 2, drops sometime in April. Both Amazon Prime shows. While nowhere as good as the books, I thoroughly enjoyed the first season of Bosch.

Finished Season 4 yesterday. Hard to argue with that.

I rarely watch shows twice, but BB makes the cut (along w/The Wire, Deadwood, Band of Brothers). Just need a few more years of separation. Like fine wine, it'll age well.

I also am not much of a "rewatcher." BB is the biggest exception to that rule. I've watched most episodes a good 3-4 times (not counting the last season), and it has yet to get old.

I've seen every season of Game of Thrones at least twice already. Every time there was little tidbits that I didn't catch the first time. I'm also a big fan of Black Sails.

Binging Judd Apatow's Love show on Netflix. Good show.

Anyone catch Sundance's Hap & Leonard debut? Based on excellent books written by Joe Lansdale. Good cast (icnluding Omar from The Wire).

Thought the X Files revival was all over the map. 2 good episodes, 1 excellent one and 3 dogs. Wonder if they'll do it again?

Any Izombie fans? It has good reviews, so I watched the debut episode last night. Pretty good. Think I'll keep watching.

Finished Breaking Bad. What an awesome series. As good as the first four or five seasons of Dexter.

You liked Dexter a lot better than I. Anyway, cheers to BB. Great show. Give Better Call Saul a try. Worth it just for the Mike 5-0 episode and the Hoboken squat cobbler bit. Slippin' Jimmy's a hoot too.

Had the week off and caught up on a number of shows:
-Master of None was quite good. It trailed a bit at the end, but it had a number of solid episodes.
-House of Cards continued its greatness. Season 4 improved upon the slight dip in season 3.
-Louie's season 5 was also great television. Bizarre as this show is at times, it has such a sense of realness to it.

It may seem like a broken record, but the amount of quality TV currently airing is astounding. Not sure which to start on my Netflix list next:
(1) Better Call Saul, (2), Bloodline, (3) Daredevil, (4) How to Get Away with Murder, (5) Jane the Virgin, (6) Jessica Jones, (7) Love, (8) Narcos, (9) Ripper Street, or (10) Top Boy.

EDIT: Just realized I never aired my grievances with probably the worst show I've ever watched the entirety of: The Following. The pilot hooked me in, but it was followed by 3 seasons of essentially the same episode and "twists" over and over and over again. Sometimes I hate that I'm the kind of person who once they start a show, I need closure, even if it is terrible.

I was thinking that I need to check out Better Call Saul. Was a big fan of Dexter but they lost it the last three seasons for sure. Went on too long.

BB had the perfect ending, IMO.

Master of None is really good, if a bit uneven. The incorporation of his parents, and his dad, in particular, is a masterstroke. Very impressed by Ansari.

Just finished binging House of Cards season 4. Have to suppress incredulity, but very addictive. Season 4 is stronger than it's predecessor.

Bloodline was good, but Ben Mendelsohn is great in it. I have no clue how there's going to be a second season.

And, yes, it's the golden age of TV. Tons of good shows. Daredevil season 2 drops soon. Bosch dropped on Friday. Saw the pilot for Sneaky Pete, very good.

I'm working my way through a similar list right now. I'd recommend watching Jessica Jones first. Much different than most super hero shows. And you'll finish it quickly. Very easy to binge watch IMO.

I agree. I watched Daredevil first. But, I really enjoyed Jessica Jones much more.

Well that pretty much settles it!

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! Jessica Jones, followed by Daredevil (seasons 1 & 2). I've read there will be a Luke Cage series from Netflix this fall? From what I understand he is in several episodes of Jessica Jones? The Marvel Universe is tough to keep up with!

Ian I'd highly recommend Ripper Street, under rated and is great! When each season comes out I binge and am done over the weekend. Very realistic and combination of good acting, great story lines and not predictable.

Daredevil is real good. Season two looks to be incredible.

Yeah - I'm only 1 episode into S4 of House of Cards. I think I'm gonna move it aside and watch Daredevil S2 first. Too much good stuff to watch and not enough time to watch it all.

Decided to go Daredevil S1, Jessica Jones S1, Daredevil S2. Starting..........now!

*Pace yourself, Ian...*

Do the Marvel series interact with one another? I want to say I heard/read somewhere that some of them tie into the the movies somehow. Seems interesting. Must be just like the comic books where different stories and characters are interwoven.
