Out for the year. He also had a shoulder problem coming into the year and no one knew but the coaches. They were thinking about when to time the surgery and now the broken arm means he'll get the shoulder surgery, too. He'll miss spring ball but be back in the fall. BB pre-emptively said it was not a matter of keeping him playing so he could go against Rutgers. So, what's the news on Sitkowski?
Gotta be 10, right? 0-0 at end of regulation. How many overtimes ??????????????????????????????
Left arm injury on Saturday as I recall. Hoping the shoulder ailment is also LEFT.Out for the year. He also had a shoulder problem coming into the year and no one knew but the coaches. The shoulder injury is actually in his right (throwing) shoulder. He's been playing with it all year. First benchmark was the first bye week and they decided to keep going at least until the next bye week (after Minny), but that's all over now.Left arm injury on Saturday as I recall. Hoping the shoulder ailment is also LEFT.
Might as well just put in IW so the defense has to account for 2 potential runners.I feel like BP can hand it off 30 times behind 7 offensive lineman.
FIFYNo doubt BP will hand it off 30+ times behind 7 offensive lineman.
He's probably our best QB anyway tbhMight as well just put in IW so the defense has to account for 2 potential runners.
We are 4-3-1 ATS.Unless I am mistaken, the Wisconsin game is the only one where Illinois did not cover the spread. That said, we should all be raking in the dough placing wagers on Illinois covering, bowl game notwithstanding.
Chase Brown continues his downhill running against Rutgers.
Josh McCray has been a bright spot in this freshman class and I know we wasted his redshirt but this gives us something to build on in the future.
Would be good to see Reggie Love and possibly Jakari Norwood get some touches.
I think Rutgers would also be a ideal opponent for us to open up our passing game. Not sure why it hasn't clicked as much but we have Washington, Hightower, Armstrong and IW along with Barker and Ford. Lets Spread the Ball!
Completely agree, if they are contributing it isn't wasting itNo we didn't
We should be 6-2 now. UTSA, MD and Purdon't.The shame is that the team could VERY easily be 5-3 right now.
Also not sure who is left standing after more injuries today. Art looked like broken arm or wrist. C. Brown looks like concussion protocol. Did Lowe return after his injury?
Is it just me, or is Coach B's video of particularly poor quality today?
Both UTSA and Maryland outplayed us. Not sure we would have won the Maryland game even if we had gone for the first down and made it, as many variables are left unknown. We should be 6-2 now. UTSA, MD and Purdon't.
Obviously something the medical people cleared, so must be something they were sure would not get worse by playing. Makes Art's long throws to Spann even more impressiveI wonder what the shoulder injury is with Art? If its a rotator cuff I can see why he would have trouble with accuracy, but also wouldn't think he have been the #2.
I said the same thing on Illini board. If we don't have a QB that is threat to pass them why not put in a QB who is a threat to run? He's probably our best QB anyway tbh
