Too bad for Syd but he'll be back and wreaking havoc. Great news on both IWill and Casey.

Pretty cool to see a majority of Lovie's first class make NFL rosters.. Shows how much potential we had

Kind of a crazy story I learned about the Eagles-Packers game tonight. The game is being played in the home soccer stadium of Sao Paolo club Corinthians. Their colors are black and white. Their arch rival is Palmeiras. Their primary color? Yep, green.

The Eagles are the home team, but they are wearing black helmets, white jerseys, and black pants. The Packers are being forced to wear their green as the visiting team. Apparently, only the Packers players and coaches can wear green. No one else representing the NFL or the Eagles can wear green.

Here’s a question (or more) after watching the Inglewood Rams for a little bit last night...

Do you (former) St. Louis Rams fans care at all about this franchise now? Has everyone moved on... or are their still holdovers in the St. Louis area that follow this team (even if it’s to see them LOSE because of leaving The Lou)?

Is there still anger or does no one care any more? Or do you follow a different team now?

(Gee those guys were so much fun when they were The Greatest Show on Turf.)

My feelings for the rams changed immediately from my hometown team to the enemy. Most feel that way.
My son, who is 24 is still a rams fan. He grew up with season tickets. Attended every game since his birth, his loyalty hasn't changed.
Sundays used to be more fun in the STL.

Had a friend who was an MLB Cardinals fan. He was also a Bears fan. I told him that he can't root for the Stl Cardinals and Chicago Bears. He could root for the Arizona Cardinals, Stl Rams, or any other team besides the Bears, because we didn't want him! He called me a honyok and told me that he would root for whatever teams he wanted. That was about what I expected. ;-)
We watched a Flyin' Illini, Minnesota game together. Minnesota's plan was to slow everything down, take no chances, and keep it close. There wasn't a lot of flying that evening.
I miss him, he was a lot of fun.

Maybe some day St. Louis will get another chance at the NFL with ownership that actually cares about St. Louis fans. This is known to me as a White Sox fan whose favorite team has had ownership for forty years that cares little for Sox fans.

Also, the football Cardinals who left the South Side of Chicago and still haven't stopped moving around yet.

I grew up as a Big Red Cardinal football fan because my dad and uncle shared season tickets. Didn't know how good I had it and paid very little attention to the college game except for ND/USC. Attended a Monday Night game and lots of other games. About the time I turned 30, they offered to pass the tickets down to the next generation and I said they could put them in my name. I was an NFL season ticket holder for 4 months and then Bidwell (the owner) skipped town. I've hated the football Cardinals ever since. It contributed to my becoming a college fan and I've never looked back. Once my kids went to Illinois, I jumped in with both feet.
