Solid performance by TSJ in his first preseason game. Only watched about 5 minutes of game, so can’t comment much on his performance. I did notice that when game was still relatively close (early 4th Q), he had team worst +/- at -17. Ended up with a second worst -6.

Other notable performances in game: Our old buddy Garza finished with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Was also on the receiving end of a flagrant foul delivered by former Beaver Kylor Kelley. And Bronny James was 0 for 5 until he hit a layup with less than a minute left. He did have 3 blocks though.

Bronny last night — 13 minutes, 0 points (only
1 shot), 2 rebounds, 4 TOs and 3 fouls. I think that puts him with only 1 garbage time (under a minute left) basket in 2 games.

New Creation
Watching TSJ play right now and gonna miss him. He is making the NBA players look like they are moving slowly around him. His basketball IQ is going to take him far. His and - 1 in the 4th quarter is too smooth. Look just like last year.

Side note: I think I saw Luka Garza

TSJ will definitely get tick during the season, but will need to feel good shooting the 3 on the catch and navigate ball screens a bit better. A expected for a rookie, there is work to do. And the one thing I have no doubt of, TSJ will put in the work.
