Congrats to Kofi, well deserved. On another note, I know the Big Ten underperformed last year, but does anyone else find it odd that they have 3 1st team AA selections, won the ACC Big Ten challenge for the 3rd straight year, but the highest seed they received is a 3? Sorry, probably should be under tournament forum, but came to mind with these awards being announced.
Means the conference is deep and well rounded, but doesn’t have a team that stands above the rest. 9 teams in the tournament speaks to that. 9 of 14 teams made the tournament. That means every game was a battle - so nobody stood at the end of the season a stand above the rest top 8 team in the country because they all had some tough to swallow losses.

And yet it's apparently doubtful to some that BU has re-established the program on firm footing.
Is this true?

I know people complain a lot, but I would think some criticism is legit. I don’t claim to keep up on every thread but I am guessing “firm”, the operative word would be a source of debate.

I definitely feel we are solid top 25, like we’ve come to expect. That hasn’t been the case for some time now.

However, I’m hoping for a perennial top 10 though. Hard to tell if we will get there and hold fast. But I’m optimistic.

Am I the only one who's dumbfounded that no one from the 05 team was first team?
Dee was First Team in the Basketball Writers' & Sporting News polls but not in the Coaches or AP polls. On the Consensus AA team, which includes six players, he was First Team and Deron and Luther were Second Team.

Bogut, Paul, Redick and Simien were locks that year across the board. Dee and Hakim Warrick of SYR split the First Team vote, and both ended up on the Consensus team.
