Illinois vs SIU Edwardsville, Friday, November 8th, 7:00pm CT, Peacock

Thanks for the scouting report. Changing teams, was wondering about your thoughts on Demarco Minor. Oregon St picked him up and had a nice first game against an inferior opponent — 23-5-2 with 4 steals, and shot 50% from field and 3-pt.
He was one of the more consistent players on the team and definitely could shoot well. He was just always second man to Taylor so he didn't get to fully be the lead man. That doesn't shock me he had a good game after transferring.

I like this, Tomi and Morezt on court together. Tomi can't shoot nor play worse defense than Humcherous. It's a win, not sold on hummer.

I've subscribed to Peacock. Hope it works out for me. I haven't tried it yet. Here's hoping for another blowout.

Thanks for reply. Beavers had to replace 8 players, and Minor has probably the strongest track record of those brought in. It was expected he and a kid from Toledo (Cochran I think) would be starting backcourt, but the former ended up being flipped by Minnesota.

There is a process to go through the first time you sign on so give yourself so lead time. Not difficult except for us old guys who are not real savvy about that stuff.

Not gonna be able to catch this one live. Will there be a replay available somewhere?

Noticed a couple of Peoria/Bradley and IU connections to SIU-E.

Their head coach Brian Barone is the son of Tony Barone, who was a lead assistant to Dick Versace at Bradley in the late 70's to mid 80's (including their NIT championship team led by JJ Anderson), and went on to be the head coach at Creighton and Texas A&M and briefly for the Grizzlies in the NBA. Brian was an assistant coach at Indiana for the first three years of the Tom Crean era.

Also noticed that one of their bench players, Kyle Thomas, transferred in from Bradley this year and is the son of Daryl Thomas, who played for Gene Pingatore at St. Joseph in HS and then for Indiana on their 1987 championship team led by Steve Alford.

And you would see one Big 10 game a week on ABC (I believe). I lived in the Evansville, Indiana viewing area. As a result, I watched Joe Dean and SEC network game of the week on NBC. I saw a lot of Pete Maravich. In addition, Evansville Colloege was D2 power at the time. A majority of their road games were televised live, and the home games were telecasted on tape delay at 10:30 pm.
Yep and Mutal of Omaha's wild kingdom with marlin perking...followed by the wonderful world of Disney. A throwback to yesteryear and far more innocent times!!!. When basketball players were called cagers and the football field was the gridiron
