Wait, and Combes still posts on this board?View attachment 37187
University of Illinois Men's Basketball Coach Harry Combes and Sports Director Tom Schoendienst talk basketball.
He was one of the more consistent players on the team and definitely could shoot well. He was just always second man to Taylor so he didn't get to fully be the lead man. That doesn't shock me he had a good game after transferring. Thanks for the scouting report. Changing teams, was wondering about your thoughts on Demarco Minor. Oregon St picked him up and had a nice first game against an inferior opponent — 23-5-2 with 4 steals, and shot 50% from field and 3-pt.
I like this, Tomi and Morezt on court together. Tomi can't shoot nor play worse defense than Humcherous. It's a win, not sold on hummer.
Thanks for reply. Beavers had to replace 8 players, and Minor has probably the strongest track record of those brought in. It was expected he and a kid from Toledo (Cochran I think) would be starting backcourt, but the former ended up being flipped by Minnesota. He was one of the more consistent players on the team and definitely could shoot well. Add Riley and they win.You could probably put ONLY those two on the court against SIUE and still be at least competitive. They can't hit every three, even against us1
Making your cocktails at home or buying beer at the store to drink at home is cheaper than going to the bar and paying the profit margins for drinks at the bar. What if he was planning on having drinks and watching the game?
There is a process to go through the first time you sign on so give yourself so lead time. Not difficult except for us old guys who are not real savvy about that stuff.I've subscribed to Peacock. Hope it works out for me. I haven't tried it yet. Here's hoping for another blowout.
Ugh. Friday is pizza and movie night with the kids so maybe I don't get to watch. Most important word here is "watch." Since is no longer on B1G+, I actually can!
Should be available on Peacock sometime after the game. Not gonna be able to catch this one live. Will there be a replay available somewhere?
Anyone know which players are going to attend in person besides DGL, Ty, AJ Redd and Max Williams?
Simple solution is to tell the kids the game is a movie. It has worked for me so far, but then again, I only have a toddler who likes the visuals on the tv screen.Ugh. Friday is pizza and movie night with the kids so maybe I don't get to watch.
You need to explain Illini basketball is the finest cinema there isUgh. Friday is pizza and movie night with the kids so maybe I don't get to watch.
Yep and Mutal of Omaha's wild kingdom with marlin perking...followed by the wonderful world of Disney. A throwback to yesteryear and far more innocent times!!!. When basketball players were called cagers and the football field was the gridironAnd you would see one Big 10 game a week on ABC (I believe). I lived in the Evansville, Indiana viewing area. As a result, I watched Joe Dean and SEC network game of the week on NBC. I saw a lot of Pete Maravich. In addition, Evansville Colloege was D2 power at the time. A majority of their road games were televised live, and the home games were telecasted on tape delay at 10:30 pm.
Keaton Kutcher, technicallyAnyone know which players are going to attend in person besides DGL, Ty, AJ Redd and Max Williams?
Imagine the margin of victory if Ditka were coaching.
