Please win. Please win comfortably. The path is becoming clear.

Beat Purdue, Minnesota, & Northwestern (all at home or neutral, all games Illinois is likely to be favored) and you have seven wins.

Win one of Oregon, Michigan, Michigan State, or Rutgers and you get to eight wins. I promise to not be greedy beyond that (others are welcome).

This is a huge game strictly from the standpoint of culture. Are we the same old Illini team that crumbles after a loss and potentially have a 4 game skid or do we come out and take care of business?

If this program is changing the way I think it is, Illinois comes out and takes care of business.

I know I'd much rather go against the incompetent with a known playbook and a likely demoralized team than an unknown and all of a sudden a team with a bit more purpose.

Can't see this righting the ship, but it's a wild card we don't need when everything is setting up well.

This feels like a trap game. It’s a game that we should win and we have Michigan coming up the next week. As long as we come into game right and we execute I think we should be fine but we do have a tendency to lay an egg against this team like we did the last 2 years.

We just lost, and made a lot of mistakes doing it. This is no longer a trap game. I would have agreeed with you if we would have won last night. However, after that performance, they will be looking to prove a point, especially against a Ryan Walter’s Defense.
