"Your place got a pool?"

"Pool and a pond. Pond'd be good for you" (and your swamped canoe, PJ.)

I think we need to pressure the QB more. They lean on the passing game more and we can’t let the QB sit back there unmolested. Timely blitzes are in order.
Agree. Especially with our DBs not at 100% it would help if we could get pressure on the QB to take some of the pressure off them.

We really need Bryant. He is and Zak are our go to receivers. Colin has been stepping up. Josh is very good for his size.

I don’t understand this emphasis on the fact Bielema is undefeated against Minnesota. Two different teams this year and the past will have zero impact Saturday.
I would not say zero impact, I would say somewhat

A lot of the same coachse are on the sidelines, and that has influence on the players and the game

I had the pleasure of watching Max Brosmer play at the University of New Hampshire starting with his freshman year. He's got a good, not great arm, and has pretty good ball security. During his career at UNH, he threw for 68 TD's and had 25 INT's. He's thrown 5 picks this year. He's a little slow afoot, and not a really big threat to run. He is a little plodding going through his progressions, and tends to be sacked more than average. He's better than the last few QB's Minny has had, but you can get to him.

What I don't understand is how we can have a 60% probability to win, yet be a 3 point dog going into this game.... ? ? ? WTF
The current price for Illinois suggests about a 43% win probability.

Who gave us a 60% probability to win? And if that entity isn’t making the point spread, there is no direct correlation.

When the line first opened, I saw some models giving Illini 53% chance to win, and they have trended down with the line (roughly around 45% chance to win). This pretty much means a coin flip in my mind. If Illini play with the focus they had against Michigan, I feel good about Illini covering and winning outright.

in these last 4 games , the only team who can beat the Illini , is the Illini .

Not necessarily. Anyone who’s played sports can tell you that there’s a mental aspect that can be incredibly important in certain circumstances. Bret and PJ are professionals who will do their best to adopt a “1-0 each week” mentality … but they know the history. If both teams are equal in every aspect and nothing will give, that dynamic very well might energize Bret and frazzle PJ in crunch time. It might not, of course, but I also don’t think these coaches have total amnesia.
