if taking ill advised shots is directly correlated to playing time, it usually is (easily correctable). also, I'm pretty confident in staff's ability to instruct players on what's a good shot and what isn't

The presumable difference between someone like Lee and Epps is that Lee is a developmental take who will get minutes by playing his role.

IL's recruiting in the portal & at the bluechip level helps reinforce that, even if it results in a player leaving.

i think playing on a team where you aren't the best player, playing "d" to get on the court and running a system that
gets open shots will solve the bad shot problem.
