off topic , but a follow up relating to my fall 3 + weeks ago......saw my doctor Wednesday morning , got x-rays......no broken bones but a suspected deep bone bruise causing the siatica......got MORE pain meds , so I am truly medded up even more.....

3 days of new pain pills has helped immensely ....back to 80 % of normal , whatever my normal is......lol.....

Happy Trails Illini Nation.......................I really really mean that...................

With that said, very, very few big guys have intrigued me more from a skillset standpoint out of the ones we've targeted/targeting.

He’s definitely extremely intriguing with his skillset! He’s very good. I could see him reclassifying. I was just saying I’m not sure there’s a clear leader yet and that we will hear anything definitive soon.

Needless to say...he's really good. As good a scorer you can find at that ball handling guard spot, can initiate as well...kinda Dillingham like IMO.

Some of the other programs in the mix for him shouldn't really have that much a better sell than us IMO. For whatever reason, have seen Ole Miss linked here for a while. Might probably come down to us and them then I guess...(?) I get it might be early to tell but...

Hope we have a good shot and are in a good spot nonetheless. Def. quite impressive that we're in consideration for five stars yearly now.

That's fair.

As intriguing a skillset as there pretty much is. Feel like he's about to skyrocket up those rankings. Him and KJ squaring off should sure be something today at 10:30...at least from a talent standpoint of those two...

I'm expecting a slew of big time programs to come after Brown hard. Beard had quite a fall from grace at Texas, but there's no denying his ability to get talent. Way too soon to get a good read on this recruitment, but it's great that we have his attention.

disappointed that Muurinen not only didn't play yesterday, he's not even on the roster. guessing that because he's based in the US now, a combo of logistics and the coaching staff left him off the team. whatever the reason(s), it's a bummer

Evans kind of reminds me of a slightly shorter TSJ. after doing a bit of research on him, it's clear why OA is on him. he good, very good. Swiss Army knife type game: there's a lot in his bag. as with all kids I don't know, wasn't sure about his take status. upon further review, wouldn't be surprised one bit if he's an automatic take.

Oddly enough, I enjoy the recruiting game as much as the actual games. And even further back before all the excellent info on Loyalty, and the internet. I used to subscribe to newsletters that came in the mail - maybe a Dave Kaplan? And religiously listen to Tate & Turpin on the radio. You youngsters have it easy!
