It sounds to me like they have "deep pockets" but not necessarily a willingness to spend.Don't they have tons of money?
We all know who the true poster boy for "peaked in high school" is![]()
What’s the timeline we are looking at for Jasper Johnson’s recruitment? Will anything happen soon or are we in hurry up and wait mode? @Indy Illini FanIU is a poverty program and if Woodson doesn't make the 2nd weekend this year ... He's gone ...![]()

We're on our way up. They're on their way down, and on the brink of ruin. Not sure that I get your meaning here. What is a "poverty program"? I know they got some deep pockets.
I think the conversation will have been a bit deeper than that. Even though what you say is the bedrock truth.Simple. They tell all these young, paid athletes that no one “deserves” playing time. They need to earn it.

Sleepers Media guys take on our team's talent level as of today:
If you include overseas I think you get to 53 pros maybe. 5 I doubt it. Unless you include guys that briefly find a place on a NBA roster but never or rarely play in a game.
Going into 2022-3 we had people talking 5 and Tim Anderson adding Dain to the list.3 pros maybe. 5 I doubt it. Unless you include guys that briefly find a place on a NBA roster but never or rarely play in a game.
If you include overseas we should never have fewer than 5.If you include overseas I think you get to 5
With Brad as our coach? Sure.If you include overseas we should never have fewer than 5.
I think Riley and Kasparis are pros(possibly one and done types). Morez could be 3.I agree with their thoughts. For next season specifically, I don't think it is Brad's most talented team. Now if we can keep most of them and bring in Fears and a couple other quality recruits, the following season may be his most talented.

If we're using "talent" in the classical sense of "recruiting ranking", I think you'd have to grade KJ and Ivisic unrealistically conservatively to come to any other conclusion than this being the most talented team BU has ever had.Sleepers Media guys take on our team's talent level as of today:
At least he had 4 touchdowns in one game!We all know who the true poster boy for "peaked in high school" is![]()
Michael Thorne played overseas. An overseas contract is pretty routine. My guess is most groce teams had 5 players who ended up with a professional contract. With Brad as our coach? Sure.
If you include overseas we should never have fewer than 5.
James Brown and as far as I know he is still going to NC. Last rankings update he was listed as 98 I believe.I can't remember his name, but does anyone know what happened to Morez's old teammate that we were after but committed to NC? Then kinda fell off and there were rumors that he potentially wasn't going to end up there? Old news, but just wondering what all happened there?
