I know this team is different in that there doesn’t seem to be an easily identifiable alpha (or top dogs), but that doesn’t mean we won’t have one. In fact, if we don’t have at least one this year an enrage 30+ mpg (agree with DB11 that Kylan and/or Ben seem most likely), I think there is a good chance that we’re disappointed in the season. I think BU has had at least 2 players avg 30+ mpg every year he’s been here except the Leron Black team. At OSU, he only had 1, but then two others at 29 mpg.
With so many newcomers, certainly conceivable that early season explorations of combinations could lead to no one quite hitting the 30 mpg threshold on the season, but I’d guess in that case we’d have 2 of 3 damn close. And much more likely if the season goes as we hope that we have that for last half of season than it is some nice, even distribution that some people seem to want in order to keep everyone happy and transfers out to a minimum. Just not how it works, and we’ve seen with Adam Miller that minutes/starting job don’t ensure guys sticking around. Could be wrong and I look forward to seeing how it all unfolds.
Now bring in the final piece of the team today. Come on down Mr Riley.
