Really good breakdown of Riley’s game with highlights while Riley does commentary on his own game. Seems like sharp kid with a very high BB IQ. Sky is the limit for him. Could be the game changer of the year if he develops quickly.

Kid has a really high basketball IQ.

I think he is a 5'5" CG. He is ranked #10. He would be the highest ranked recruit. I think he would fill in for Rilley should he leave after this year. Who knows who will be there, maybe Tre White or Boswell?

I never said that a skinny guy can't excel. What I said was we are so stacked with talent we can afford to bring Riley along slowly. After a few games. he'll be getting starters' minutes.

Tre has looked the best so far. Folks are really underestimating the impact he can make. 6MOTY in the B1G very much in play if he indeed comes off the bench like I expect
Athletically he seems to be the closest to TJ. Not TJ but believe he has the ability (if he has the will ) to be an outstanding defensive player. Guess we are going to see how much of the “get old” is effective in 24-25.
The oldest team would be Ben, Ivsic, Tre, Ty, and Kylan. Not saying these will be the starters but not a bad Nov. team. Really wonder if the coaches have a penciled lineup at this point. Actually hope they don’t.

I know this team is different in that there doesn’t seem to be an easily identifiable alpha (or top dogs), but that doesn’t mean we won’t have one. In fact, if we don’t have at least one this year an enrage 30+ mpg (agree with DB11 that Kylan and/or Ben seem most likely), I think there is a good chance that we’re disappointed in the season. I think BU has had at least 2 players avg 30+ mpg every year he’s been here except the Leron Black team. At OSU, he only had 1, but then two others at 29 mpg.

With so many newcomers, certainly conceivable that early season explorations of combinations could lead to no one quite hitting the 30 mpg threshold on the season, but I’d guess in that case we’d have 2 of 3 damn close. And much more likely if the season goes as we hope that we have that for last half of season than it is some nice, even distribution that some people seem to want in order to keep everyone happy and transfers out to a minimum. Just not how it works, and we’ve seen with Adam Miller that minutes/starting job don’t ensure guys sticking around. Could be wrong and I look forward to seeing how it all unfolds.

Now bring in the final piece of the team today. Come on down Mr Riley.
