I wasn't in the "doom and gloom" group, so I have no issue with this.
I wonder how many Loyalty Chicken Little’s, who declared this a failed recruiting offseason weeks ago, will admit they were dead wrong and WAY premature in spreading their doom and gloom negativity…

I was, however, in the more "neutral" group in mid-May who thought there was still a good amount of work to do (prior to adding KJ and whoever might be imminent). At that time, there was also an "eternally optimistic" group who was probably a bit too high on lineup combinations including Boswell, Humrichous, Ivisic, White, Rodgers, and Booth, with perhaps another mid-tier addition. I'm glad the coaching staff wanted much more, and that our NIL funds allowed much more.

That said, it seems as if the chances of getting Riley (or Catchings) are decent.

The gif shows (with the help of AI) OA walking out as though triumphant. I think it's reasonable to think that implies a deal is done and just waiting to be publicly announced. Knowing how the board will run with the slightest hint of good news, it would seem prudent to only post such a strong suggestion if a deal is done. Just my opinion though. I won't get worked up if insiders want to toy with people a bit, but don't blame the people in that case.
Grateful for our insiders, but maybe a little premature & overzealous with the OA post today.
