If Chet is the template, and he can be a light version of Chet, then great! To add to that, the template would be to keep him in college longer to make money and put on weight so he doesn’t end up like Chet. Fingers crossed we can get a unicorn scenario like this!He doesn't have to make impact by gaining lots of weight though. He needs to keep his agility to play the perimeter game. His template is Chet Holmgren at 7'1", 195 lb. He is already 200 lb according to 247. I think he will be great at 220 lb.
tough to turn down number 1 pick (and $$$) based on potential for NIL and weight gain.If Chet is the template, and he can be a light version of Chet, then great! Something something Tisdale diet…LOL ... This kid would legitimately need to move in with Fletch ... That's a major project ...
Completely agree. I’m just making sure my username checks out today. I’m still recovering from anger management classes from earlier this season.Tou

No mention of the Canadian pipeline or the staff's penchant for lefties. What happened to my Loyalty?Something something Tisdale diet…
He is from Canada so looks like an open and fair game. However we don't have a Canada pipeline so it's more like wait and see before I worry about Fletching.Tou

He's Canadian might be a conversion issue with the metric systemJust noticed that Edey was the 440th ranked player in the 2020 class … discuss.
The Brown brothers? I know it's FB, but still. He is from Canada so looks like an open and fair game. However we don't have a Canada pipeline so it's more like wait and see before I worry about Fletching.
I'm gonna need to see the science behind that statement before I buy into it.That's actually fairly common.

that's science baby
he has developed into a very good college player. It should be interesting to see where he is drafted and whether he has a sucessful NBA career like Yao Ming or Mark Eaton. He is not very athletic but if used correctly could block a lot of shots and rebound everything in the lane. Of course if he could develop a 3 point shot ala Brooks Lopez that would help a lot in the pros. Always nice to see B10 players succeed in NBA (as long as they are cheater wolverines.Just noticed that Edey was the 440th ranked player in the 2020 class … discuss.
For every 1 Zack Edey there's 9 Nick Smiths? Yeah, that's the best I can offer...Just noticed that Edey was the 440th ranked player in the 2020 class … discuss.
Unless they get a….special delivery. That's actually fairly common.
Wait a second...@illini0440 are you in fact Zach Edey? And does that mean Edey is in fact Tyler standing on Paxton Wardens shoulders in a trenchcoat?Just noticed that Edey was the 440th ranked player in the 2020 class … discuss.
For the winFrom my angle he looks to be even taller than Omar Payne?
Unless they get a….special delivery.
What’s this recruitment look like? Chances I like this kid?Just watched some clips. Kid is a baller and is all day long (taller than Hawkins, I'd say). 2 more years and he's going to be a load. Yeah, he's lanky (gaunt). Fletch should have fun with him.
At worst he's a Canadian Boban, right? Boban keeps getting NBA contracts...he has developed into a very good college player. Note: Luke Garza is on Timberwolves roster 5 ppg. Played in 17 of 52 games.

Boban probably had more minutes on the screen in the NFC Championship than he has on the court for the Rockets this entire month. And commercials
