Local player staying home, very glad to see. Hoping for more to come.

not a splashy recruit, but staff has really improved in-state recruiting. especially, downstate. 2 high visibility games, back to back. great opportunity to improve our program status here

while Smith isn't a splashy get, he fills a need and he has promise (in the Rusk mold). happy we landed him

Already posted YouTube game footage of this kid. I will post a link to the MF games versus Pittsfield near 10/4.

This seems to be one of these cases where the kid was going to commit soon after the offer.

Great kid, great family, lots of room for development and BB seems to love this type of kid. Really happy for him and his family.
probably is under rated a little

if he had committed to ND, he would be an immediate 4*
joking aside , he has size and if staff can determine he has heart and brains , grab him .

schollie roster is now 105 correct ?

Nate Guinn replacement, i guess. Local kid, which is good. Was definitely hoping for a bit more impact perhaps riding the momentum of a 3-0 start

Development isn’t linear, some kids are late bloomers. The staff has really excelled at evaluating senior film. Also kids like this who are from the state are more likely to be willing to wait 4-5 years to play. Gouin left after 1 season. How many Florida kids have sat and accepted a development role. If they don’t play right away they are usually moving on

He’s a kid we can let develop in the system and physically mature. He will need to put on 25-30lbs
