That should be an amazing game. Ritter has some big time talent other than Boyd and Rochester just wins.

I mean...

If one would like to be optimistic about this, by average player rating, we are nearly the same as MSU and ahead of IU, kitties and Minney. They just have more commits. 14th is better than 18th, sort of.

If Gayle or Trimble flipped to a blue blood they'd get a massive bump in ratings. These recruiting websites are very bias. I miss the days of them actually evaluating players. Now every player gets a 3* if they go to a power conf team, unless the player jumps into the recruiting scene late

Complaining about recruiting rankings is a pastime spent most by fans of teams that don't recruit well and don't win their share of games. I haven't seen many 'winning with 3* players' campaigns on the bball side lately

I just hate that these recruiting sites on the fb side are afraid to rate players as a 2*. Feel like they just rate them on the safe side of things so to not ruin their reputation if they miss judge a hidden gem. Bball's different with less players and the AAU circuit. Easier to evaluate imo

The vast majority of college recruits are 3 stars. Don't read into it too much. Would like more recruits but recruiting is very muchba "see what sticks" process.

Very different sports.

College basketball recruits are much better scouted than football.

Over the past 5-10 years, recruiting analysts have stopped assigning actual grades beyond the top few hundred recruits and instead grade based upon the school a player commits too.

Recruiting rankings are of course a data point, but they aren’t the full picture.
