Mizzou went from basement dweller to SEC contender in 4 years. Just sayin’.
Excuse GIF by MOODMAN
Very few programs were in a pit as deep as the one we were in.

Meanwhile, we just picked up commits from two more dudes with very solid Power 4 offer lists, and no one is talking about that??

Beyond Newton, are we close to getting a commitment from anyone else?

They've undoubtedly improved, to the point where they might be the Big XII favorite (if they resided there), but Mizzou would be a double-digit dog against Georgia in Athens. They remind me of Iowa - a great schedule might make them plucky but they aren't in the same class as the Georgias or Ohio States.

The biggest difference is Iowa has almost a 0% chance when they play programs like Michigan or Ohio state. Missouri is definitely a step down from Georgia but they have players like LB3 that can atleast make the game interesting. All Iowa can do is burn clock and try to shorten the game to try to keep it close.

their schedule is about as easy as it gets for an SEC team. Will be a major bummer if they have another great W-L season and I have to hear about it from the people around here.

Yes, exactly. Over/under wins for them may be like 10.5. Aside from UGA, even the perennial powerhouses they may play are down from where they usually are

Yep. Mizzou may be enjoying record success in recruiting, and have certainly lapped us, but they're well down the list compared to other SEC teams.

We currently aren’t near even the upper two thirds of the big ten either…currently 15/16 out of 18 teams in our conference.

There's a lot more than you'd think. These are recent programs/coaches that had success with a worse 3 year win/loss record than Bielema took over.
Kansas/Liepold
Oregon st./Smith
Washinton St./Leach
Purdue/Brohm
Iowa st./Campbell
Arkansas/Pitts
Duke/Elko
Vandy/Franklin
Virginia/Mendenhall
Arizona/Fisch
Baylor/Briles
Kentucky/Stoops
Northwestern/Braun
GT/Key

These were only Teams in P5 with a worse record than Lovie had the 3 years prior to the Bielema. There's a few others with similar but slightly better starting records.
