Too early for this weekends visitors I’d think, but McDonald is a top notch recruiter.McDonald tweet:
No way to interpret that as anything but very good news.

Hope so, I can't even remember the last time we had a decent, consistent pass rushSometimes punishing OL depth gets moved to the DL. That could be happening with all of these mauler OL types, in that one (or two) eventually get tried at Nose.
Might be a little bit of a tell.Following BB's bear tweet, did a bit of digging. Baer cancelled his OV to the golden domers (this weekend), because they wouldn't host his GF (family only). So, it looks like it's coming down to UK and us. Recent pics (on twitter) have dad and GF in O&B, but no clue if that's a tell.
Might be a little bit of a tell.
I'm guessing at least 50%. Seems like all the NFL players who are married ended up with HS sweethearts.Curious how many of these recruits’ girlfriends went on to become their spouses.
I'm not on Twitter, but hope someone responded with an INI...Might be a little bit of a tell.
And the competition is more on par with where things should be! Baer has a very nice list of schools in his final 5!! I do think we're taking steps forward.
Baer the huge OL would be a great get for the program. Type of kid our Coach landed regularly at Wisconsin.I'm a little slow on this one....is this a reference to Austin Brown? Or who?
cb for hollins? Was really hoping it was for brown but I’m not complaining.
Several of our commits were no stars. Only means that they weren't rated yet. All of them were given 3 stars in their initial ranking.I looked up Hollins and saw no stars. But if a guy is running a sub 4 at a camp you would think he would at least get 3 stars. Maybe I am late to the show. He does have good size and is an athlete from the south. Would be a good pick up at wide rec.

Truth. Those guys are a tier above the kids who have committed thus far. If we can get those guys (beyond Pugh), that would be meaningful, on and off the field.Badie is the recruit that I thought would be a no-brainer for Lovie's staff (athletic in-state LBer) that never was seriously recruited or seriously considered Illinois. BB getting guys like him would be an enormous plus.
Getting guys like Badie/Pugh/Brown/Laughery/Bostick are so important for local optics but also for cutting off the recruiting supply for schools like Iowa and Minnesota to climb the B1G West standings (in the future).
If he runs a sub 4 he should be a nine star (at least).I looked up Hollins and saw no stars. But if a guy is running a sub 4 at a camp you would think he would at least get 3 stars. Just to be crystal clear, when I say "a tier above", I'm referring solely to ratings.*Truth. Those guys are a tier above the kids who have committed thus far. If we can get those guys (beyond Pugh), that would be meaningful, on and off the field.
If he runs a sub 4, the coach of the track team should camp outside his house til he signs. If he runs a sub 4 he should be a nine star (at least).
