Based on the opinions of most experts (and the betting market), many would consider this a HUGE upset, though the team will not.
The last quarter and OT showed why experience at the QB position matters. Altmyer was composed, and Raiola crumbled when hit with pressure (missed td throw in 4th qtr and taking a couple terrible sacks in ot).
Complete team win! On to Happy Valley!

Our lines looked WAY better today, just a huge step forward for the guys. Amazing job on the road against a Nebraska team desperate to take that next step forward.

Barry Lunney's best game as an Illini and it's not particularly close.
Happy for the players and coaches. Happy the officials called a fair game. Would have been an easy but wrong call if they had flagged Coleman for a personal foul on that 3rd down in OT.

Let's be real he's legit and going to be an absolute superstar but we definitely showed he's got some growing to do before we start anointing him as the best right now.
They were nine point favorites to start the game, so it was a pretty big upset.
But, two teams 3-0, ranked #22 and #24 doesn’t seem like a huge upset.
But, it was in THEIR house.
