The only issue I have with women's basketball is that State Farm Center is simply too big for them. If the program continues to progress, I would think playing in front of packed arena of 7,000 to 10,000 fans would be much more exciting than playing in a half empty SFC. They can continue to practice at Ubben, but play their games in the new arena.Women's basketball shares Ubben and State Farm with the men. No need for a change. Volleyball needs those kinds of facilities for training and games. Sharing with hockey in a similar way. Probably going to have to wait until revenue sharing shakes out unless a big-time donor steps up. Until that is completed volleyball recruiting is going to suffer.
