I really can't wait to see what O can do with our bigs. The uniqueness that they bring brings a wonder of possibility.

I hope offensively, we take major pages out of the UCONN play book especially since we have some Euro flavor now and just an insane amount of options. I'm sure there will be some booty ball, but I think this team has so many weapons it doesn't need it as a primary. I can't wait to see TY. I'm hoping to see much improvement finishing around the rim. If he had added a competent jumper, oh !!!!, this dude will be a nightmare for opposing defenses. Fair to say 10-5-4 out of him.

Defensively will be interesting. We need all toes in on every possession. We just don't have that guy who can sit another teams best player and limit touches. I don't think we should be a switch everything team as we don't have a team of good individual defenders. I think with the length we have, we will see some more zone this year. Man will be primary, keep things in front of you.
Tre would be the closest if it becomes his goal as has both size and athleticism. Most similar to TSJ in physical capabilities. Think defensive ability makes it tough to predict starters as it seems most people are projecting based on offensive skills. Rez and Ty will be a force on offensive boards even if low on shooting skills and many of these are instant offense.

Don't give up so easily. We have two guys in Ty and DGL that have been through two seasons of listening to Brad, seeing it get done on the floor, and learning the value of all out defense. Unless, the best player is a 7' skilled monster, giving the opposing Alpha Dog a hard time should get done by one of these. As for the rest of the team, only Morez seems to have potential in that regard. I am just wondering how much BU will distribute minutes on court based on minutes of lock down defensive attention. They all can play intense defense, but so much of that depends on wanting to. Likely at this point they are beginning to grasp the idea but will take a month or two more to get that to a desired level.

Tomi and his brother, Big Z played and did pretty much everything similar. So if Big Z was found eligible, I imagine at some point Tomi will be as well. Reading up on Big Z it sounded like academic equivalent coursework was the issue. I thought possibly it was due to playing on a Euro "pro club". Big Z is still eligible so Illinois would have a huge argument of how one twin is eligible who did everything the same as the other twin and the other is not.

Hoping for a quicker resolution than Big Z who wasn't eligible until January of last year. Tomi actually looks to be a 7-footer, in previous videos I thought he didn't look as big. But per comparison the on the team photo he is taller and bigger bodied than anybody else and it is not even close.

You sound like you believe the NCAA is bound by law. In reality, they pretty much follow their biases and instincts and are little interested in fact. They will defend their decisions with silence in anticipation of being sued. There is no way they can defend any decision on the basis of consistent application of the rules as there is almost a similar decision made involving the same facts with an almost opposite judgement.

Could just be my poor judgment, but just from the first pic is it safe to assume the starting 5 were the following...

Boswell
KJ
Riley
 White
MJ
