That’s when I knew I was gonna like that kid
I'm sure he had absolutely no idea why they were stopping off to take pictures at a random parking lot behind a Pizza Hut shortly after he landed in the US (I wonder if he thought thugs were going to come out from behind a dumpster and attack him for a brief moment?), but hopefully after he heard the story behind it it made more sense to him (assuming his English is good enough to grasp those sorts of nuances). Still love that he did it, though.

Is this our starting 5?
I struggle to see this lineup starting...one knock on riley is that he's not very fast. So, Brad is going to start three SLOW guys?? I wouldn't think so...

I'm not sure they could get down the court in 7 seconds, let alone shoot. Brad LOVES burners...

I have high hopes for this team, but keep in mind, Colorado just had two players drafted (at 10 & 18) and were a 10 seed and lost in the second round of the NCAA tournament.

Talent is always a good thing, but you never know how it will translate to wins.

(I didn’t watch a ton of Colorado basketball this year, so I’m not sure of their full team dynamic)

This only includes public schools that are required to report this revenue, so Duke, Syracuse, Creighton, Villanova, Notre Dame and others are omitted.
Thanks, should've did more than glance.

Totally hear you on all this. I can say for sure outside of Cody Williams, Da Silva & their center, that team stunk. There are certain skills and talents that translate sooner rather than later in the college game. Riley is a polished scorer & prolific shooter with a 6'8" frame. That translates immediately on any level. Kasparas' ability to handle, facilitate and shoot at his size also translate well. We have a really solid supporting cast around the young yet uber talented guys on our squad. Frankly, Brad is too good to not succeed with this level of talent 🤷‍♂️

That's completely true but Colorado actually was a pretty good team and were generally hovering around Kenpom #25(finished at #24) and they were a 4 pt loss to Marquette away from a sweet 16(had every chance to win that game).

What they didn't have however was any depth whatsoever and Cody Williams(#10 pick) played injured basically the entire season. Honestly, credit to Williams for even playing but played through a broken wrist, broken orbital bone, and then a grade 3 ankle sprain(at the end of Feb).

The PG KJ Simpson was drafted too, so they weren't all terrible around them. I think they had a big man transfer in from TCU I think that was roughly Dainja level effective too.

They were a pretty solid team when healthy.
