I *had* to bring in Krause, because he severely damaged both Grant and Pippen's potential. He didn't want to pay Grant, so Grant would sit our sick as a negotiating tactic. Krause doubled down by telling the media Horace had the "blue" flu.

Krause signed Pippen to a multi-year deal before his rookie contract expired that severely underpaid him. Pippin was eager to get any deal because his father had suffered a stroke. Krause then doubled-back and swore up and down that he told Pippen not to sign the deal. Sure thing, pal!
