The defense has made plays and stops against a very explosive offense. They've also been on the field almost the entire game. This one is on Lunt and receivers that aren't getting any separation downfield. Weak check-downs and screens aren't getting it done. The passing game is giving us no chance.

This isn't much of a surprise this team is the same team as last season. Just wish Lunt would actually be aggressive and this defense didn't play like my high school football team.

The Lovie effect can only go so far. Need to stock up on talent in recruiting. Unfortunately Lunt has never lived up to the hype. It is only the second game of the year but the Illini have a long way to go.

Not that I expected a win, but man we look a lot worse than I expected we would. Disappointed to say the least, especially because the fans showed up for this one!
