Yes. That last throw of the half was quite telling.

Check out Dudek's body language on it.

We played better at USF, very surprised about defense. Nothing good about the offense, Crouch right, Crouch right. Not too hard to figure out. Maybe improve in second half, but Neby starts with ball.:tsk:

Tackllng

I know Lovie is afraid that someone might chip a nail if the tackle in practice but we look like a middle school team playing two hand touch out there.

Anybody else excited for the WAZZU - USC game tonight?

Actually, good point. Lots of negativity about us playing on Friday night, but look at all the other teams playing tonight! Are those fan bases complaining as loudly as us? I don't know. Always been hearing about how VaTech had Thursday night all to themselves to showcase their program.

This is painful but o still feel good about where we are headed. Just looking forward to the year we can say... wait 'til next year.

We have generally not been close enough to make a tackle. Not sure thast is the problem.

Why can't I just adopt a college football team that is actually good ..instead I have to make myself sick watching this crap...it's sad how far this football program has fallen..I mean northern Illinois beat nebbyin neb right? How far down is Illinois on the list of state programs in Illinois?

As an Illinois / White Sox / Bears / Bulls fan I am currently wandering around in a barren sports hellscape worse than anything I had ever dreamed possible.

For some reason our D seems to be playing back first, then come up to pursue- very cautious

Get the ball for crying out loud - just take it from the QB

You know, I might be reaching here, but with over 50 freshman, red-shirt or true, with 2 weeks off, who knows what their priorities were as far as preparing for this game. I don't know. Others have touched on how we looked like we were sleep-walking out there after this off week. Maybe next year's off week will result in a more focused return to action. after learning what it is like to be off a week in the middle of the football season. Time will tell.

Same here, though ambivalent about the Bulls.

No Blackhawks?

Hope for Sox at least.

This is disheartening. I am one of those realizing we are a few years away, but just depressing

Turner is driving me crazy this year. Catch the d*mn ball. Stop trying to turn a short catch to get a first down into a home run by running backwards.... come on. Do any of our coaches get on these guys? All I see is TB type looks on our coaches faces...

Someone PLEASE GET ANGRY down there!

On the bright side, great throw by Crouch on that third and goal. I like how they started the second half, but after that awful first half they needed a TD, no doubt.

Will need a defensive touchdown sometime soon to make this a game.

I'm running out of "next years"
