Game Thread: Illinois vs Minnesota

Important to get the lead early in this one and force Minnesota to play from behind. Minnesota is a bad running team that relies on the pass and that in theory we should match up well with defensively, however with a banged up and thin secondary, it'll be interesting how we hold up over the course of the game. On offense, need to get a couple sustained drives to start wearing their defense down. Getting a solid run game going and some hot routes will go far. Also cutting down our whiffed blocks by a factor of 10 from Oregon would be great. I expect a very tight game that goes to the final whistle:

Illinois: 24
Minnesota: 23

Another Rosiek sack ends this one out with Minnesota attempt a game winning drive late

Special teams continues to play well. Now up to the D to shake off last week's poor start.

That was there Franklin could have stretched a little farther. Someone need to talk to Luke his body language lacks so much confidence. BLJ absolutely needs to scheme up more plays like the easy completion to PB for Luke to get going.
