That pick HAS to change the momentum of this game if we’re going to win. Period. Defense did its job; even if the offense only gets three points, we need to stay on the field for a long drive.

No matter what happens the rest of this game, I think we can be heartened by the effort we saw out there during that last defensive series. They were pushing the ball on us. We are definitely outmanned out there, but we never gave up, almost got the stop on 4th down, and then the pick. We keep this level of good psyche up and we'll be bowling again.

Another year and looney's high powered offense scheme he brought from UTSA back to a predictable offense to defend against the ILLINI. A. Henry's D is hanging in there, they could give us a chance!
