None are standing out compared to all the others. DGL being so effective is somewhat covering up Boswell’s struggles. Kylan has had some aggressive drives that drew fouls.
I thought Kylan had a good half defensively. Kind of sloppy on the offensive end and a little too jumpy on the perimeter. Just hasn’t settled in there. Ben had some good plays on offense. Got on the O glass and got a foul + knocked down a three. Defensively, he looks like someone we’re going to need to hide. Tre’s struggled — I’m not sure he’ll be a plus shooter just looking at his shot and he’s lost his man a few times + turned one over not going up strong near the hoop. He’ll be fine, but we need him to bring more effort and energy defensively to provide a spark.

Carey Booth MIA. He's either a long-term project or a miscalculation by the staff. Boswell and White also seem pretty underwhelming. But my God, KJ, Tomi, and DGL are the goods right now.

The high ball screens are giving us fits. He and DGL are trying to fight through them. He is clearly one of our strongest on ball defenders but the bar has not been high

Can we not call players “underwhelming” or “miscalculations” when there has only been one half of basketball played? Lmao
Kylan has played about 70 NCAA games, he is playing a controlled game. He is facilitating and coaching on the court. KJ is very talented but also making mistakes as well, like shooting when there is an open man. Tomi and Kylan spoke to him a couple times. DJL playing very well, like Tomi as well. Once again, KJ needs to involve the team, don't blame Tre White and others for having a hard time getting involved.
