Glad to see the adjustments we’ve made since Missouri. Most notably: a different switching strategy on the defensive end and a bigger emphasis on ball movement on offense. Energy and effort are way up. Also, all the coaches are in suit coats now and Skyy has dreads.

All look great so far! We’ll see how they hold up in BIG play. Especially Skyy’s dreads…😅

Feel free to disagree....but Sencire to Dain in the post should be one of our top 2-3 options on offense going forward. That was a fantastic entry pass for a freshman.
Absolutely agreed. I don't understand how a freshman is this good a defender and this good an entry passer. It makes no sense. Sencire Harris plays with 2-3 years more college playing experience than he has.

Sencire is an everyday guy. Quickly becoming my favorite player on this team. Dains put back dunk on the missed layup by tsj was the play of the game for me. All heart and hustle to run the floor that hard for a big man on what looked like an easy layup. Dainja is very engaged this game!

I know we’re playing a bad team, but it’s nice to be watching a straight-up beatdown. Our issues have been more mental than a lack of personnel, so I’m hoping this gives us some confidence for our trip to our home away from home up in Evanston.

Also, wow … OUR FANS. Not many programs play like we did the past three games and have a fairly packed house on a Thursday night vs. a cupcake with the students on break. 👏🏻👏🏻

Hey I’m sorry, this is irrelevant to the game, but when they flashed to Perrin, I learned he is wearing #25. Do we still have the Simeon relationship where only players from Simeon will wear that number? I guess I’m confused

Dain is about 15ish pounds and 6 weeks of endurance from being almost unstoppable in the post. With that footwork and wing span...good grief.
I know he's already come a long way...but I see what some of the hype was about.

When Perrine committed last year, he was listed at 6'9". When he left the prep school for campus a week or so ago, he was listed as 6'10. His family apparently said he was still growing and had hit closer to 6'11. Upon check-in at UofI I heard they measured him at 7'. TV announcers said during this game he was 7'1". At this rate, by the time we face Purdue, he will make Edy look short.

Guy is a force. It will be interesting to see how he deals with the bigs in the B10. He does have the moves to give someone like Edey some issues though.
