With the way they've moved the ball, they'd run out the clock. I get why they went for it. I don't get why we're playing so sloppily after weeks of good play.

PSU has outstanding athletes, but the mistakes we're making are hurting us more

I haven’t seen an Illinois team that wants to lose as much as this team tonight does. If we get back to the mentality of the first four games during our next two games, we’ll be alright still. We all knew this would be our toughest test, and we’re only down 7 with less than 6 minutes left (albeit in a bad position).

If you think this is messy emotional rollercoaster college football you should have watched Miami-VT last night.

We needed to play near perfect to win tonight. Haven't done that.

On the one hand, it is infuriating that we've been this close and can't bridge the gap. On the other, inarguably we are a good team and we are giving PSU all they can handle. No way we should drop out of the rankings and we absolutely have the ability to win 8 games this year.
