Why have we gotten away from the slants?
If they ran the ball every time and we called a slant every time-the score would be 42-49

Anyone else notice the bad spot? The near official spotted it for a first, but went backwards as he towards the ball. He was closest to the ball. it should have been his spot.

If I was Lunney I would open up the playbook for slant routes, double move sideline routes and Valentine or Feagin for some screen passes or wheel routes.............it was poetic to see chase brown on those wheel routes p[lay's usually for a score or a big yardage play..........
