We're playing the #1 team in the country on national TV. There's no hangover here.

Oregon is a legitimate national championship team, they are insanely fast and they have NFL players all over the roster. We have none of those things. We're outclassed from a personnel standpoint and that's ok. Have to take a step forward in the off-season with regards to recruiting.

Somewhat agree, but talent discrepancies don't excuse poor execution, penalties and poor effort - especially on D.

I'm not overly surprised by this, I don't know why anyone else is. We've been gashed by teams all year on defense, but somehow managed to get stops. That doesn't translate at all versus Oregon.

Illinois fans on here. Excusing this poor and soft play is a reason we will never be a top program. You gotta demand better. It doesn't matter if our recruiting class is #100 and they have 85 5 stars....play with a chip on your shoulder, play hard and smart and you can run with anyone...STOP excusing poor play!!!!

Inexcusable play by the D today. Just cannot have it after a huge bounceback game by them last week. Embarrassing performance so far.

It's some awful play, but again, if laying an absolute egg today means we come out hard our next 4 games, I'll take it. This one was always going to be incredibly tough to win even if we played our best. The next 4, we can't afford a bad game
