According to these announcers, when the Boogeyman goes to sleep each night, he first checks under his bed for Crayola. They are already set to enshrine him in Canton, before even going pro. Are these guys sports announcers, or fan boys? They'll probably stand in line after the game for his autograph.

This is how so much of announcing is these days. I feel they just settle on a particular narrative before the game, and then the announcers keep hammering on it all game regardless of what is happening on the field.

I am enjoying watching meaningful, watchable football. We are by no means Georgia, Ohio St. etc.. but we are a team that can compete with those 2nd and 3rd tier teams and I think that's what any of us on this board has been desperately wanting

I don’t think they’ve given up on him. He’s just not a top 3 or 4 receiver for us right now.
