If the foul calls even out in the second half, we are going to win this one.

Jaylon Tate: 0 mins in the first half.

This makes me happy.

I really hate not having BTN and having to just listen rather watch.

It seems like we're not getting any rebounds and NE getting a lot of second chances...and that's what's keeping them close. I don't think we've had one put-back or even one offensive rebound and reset.

We've had a few o rebounds

It's not the fouls that are bothering me in the box score. It's the rebounds.

Rebounds are 21-17 in favor of Nebraska. We're trailing in this stat, but not by a lot.

That said, 6 of Nebraska's 21 are on the offensive glass.

The refs weren't nearly as bad as you are making them out to be. Ticky-tack fouls are FOULS, it's how the game is called today whether you like it or not. Don't blame the refs for doing their job.

They need to call the ticky tack fouls on the other side of the court too is the problem

I was frustrated by three made 3's that we did not contest at all. Some defense at the arc would sure come in handy

My issue is that it feels like there have been a couple of ticky-tack fouls that weren't called on Nebraska.

I'm okay with Illinois having 9 - I question Nebraska only having 4.

It seems worse because there were a few possessions where it seems like nebby got multiple orebs
Exactly. Nebraska has made more effort plays than Illinois when it comes to crashing the boards. Not a recipe for success.

They have for the most part. Fouls aren't going to be completely even for both teams every game. Just because there is a big variance doesn't mean the refs are doing a terrible job like you all are saying.

I don't think the refs are doing a "terrible job" - but I feel that they have missed a couple of calls against Nebraska.

Yeah, that's what makes it so frustrating. I can't see anything in the stats I have that shows how many Nebraska offensive rebounds result in scores. I guess that's what make it feel like we're taking it so hard on the boards.

The charge that Malcolm didn't get had a ton more contact than that blocking call on tejon, who barely touched him in real life

Mav tripled on left block, passes out to TA on left wing, Leron wide open for pass on right block, TA swings it instead. Less and less a fan of TA with the ball in his hands and a decision to be made.

Abrams with another 3!

Groce chatting to the ref about Mav's verticality there. I agree.
