He has played well at times but goes missing on defense occasionally.

Underwood made a comment about this after the last game. Said something about trust? I don't remember exactly, but I had moderately high hopes for him this year too.

Kipper was better at stand and shoot or rebound and put back. With this offense he struggles putting the ball on the ground.

may be good for our team down the road if AJ missed a couple of inconsequential 3’s in a blow out. the weight of the percentage to start the season may have him a little gun shy if he’s not absolutely feeling it.

In the pregame interview, Underwood observed that Kipper is basically still a freshman this year. So he's experiencing growing pains like the rest of them.

Yeah, re: Kipper, sounds like he's having growing pains. Hope he gets his mojo back on, he was a force at times last season.

Same look that happens when people continue to not understand the "so called" Seven Second Offense... Pretty offensive. :thumb:

Problem with that is he couldn't handle the defensive end of the floor to offset his positives on the offensive end. If he couldn't play in Groce's scheme, no way he could hang in this one.
