I was watching Hollywood Squares when Peter Marshall read the question, "My son (then he stopped and said some heartfelt thanks to the writers. Grinning hugely) My son plays major league baseball for what team?"and Pete is the son of Peter Marshall, long time host of Hollywood Squares
We could use him this week...Cade Horton, 2022 1st round pick, 22 years old, consensus Top-50 prospect, 1.10 ERA in 16.1 innings at AA this year is being promoted to AAA.
He’ll make his debut in MLB before the end of the season.
Seems like a million things have gone wrong this season. How the heck are we .600 right now?
I saw a similar article that made that mistake. He's with Iowa.Horton called up? Edit: saw it on fansided.com but no where else. I am guessing the guy got AAA mixed up with the MLB club.
I think that we were gifted a win tonight. I'll take it, but it's almost impossible to imagine that Alonso didn't get his hand on the plate before Amaya tagged him.Come on bullpen, don’t blow this win for Iminaga.
yea, agreeI think that we were gifted a win tonight. I'll take it, but it's almost impossible to imagine that Alonso didn't get his hand on the plate before Amaya tagged him.
I only saw one angle. From there he never reached the plate, but I know that different views can show a different result. I wouldn't be surprised by an angle that shows some part of him reaching the plate.I think that we were gifted a win tonight. I think if he was called safe and the Cubs challenged it, they would have lost. I don't think there was enough evidence to overturn it either way. To me, looked like his hand was over the plate then came down but it was unclear if the tag was applied before his hand came down.I only saw one angle. He’s slumping something awful. It would be nice to have some blowouts that he could work through it in a non high leverage situation.Another Alzolay stinker. He is basically as unplayable as Hendricks
Lifetime AAA player.Mervis with another uncompetitive at bat in a big spot. we need seiya and bellinger back soon
At least we learned he can stink without giving up HR's. Can't hold runners on base either. Ran wild on him.Another Alzolay stinker. He is basically as unplayable as Hendricks
