Good thing I'm out of state. I am watching on ESPN+.Man, the Blackhawks not being on TV is giving me flashbacks to my youth

I can't tell if it's the players or Richardson's system but the offense is atrociousDisappointing end to an overall well played game by the Hawks. Gotta score more than one, though.
Part of it is not having goal scorers on the team other than Bedard. Teams can key on him until someone else shows they can be a consistent threat.I can't tell if it's the players or Richardson's system but the offense is atrocious
Ultimately, with wired cable subscriptions declining so rapidly, basic tier versus premium tier isn't the make-or-break financial question it used to be.For those wanting to know the channels Chicago Sports Network will be (eventually in some cases) available on, this link on their website should help: https://chsn.com/info/
It's worth noting that Comcast/Xfinity and CHSN are currently in a carriage dispute as Comcast wants the channel on the same premium tier that Bally Sports Midwest got put on after their carriage dispute ended earlier this summer.
I'd disagree to a certain extent. When Bally Sports Midwest came back on Xfinity, I looked into see how much more of a cost there would be to move up to the premium tier. I would have had to pay about $40/month more than what I'm paying now and have a new cable box put in. Definitely not affordable for me at this point.Ultimately, with wired cable subscriptions declining so rapidly, basic tier versus premium tier isn't the make-or-break financial question it used to be.
Oh, sorry if I was unclear, I mean it's not the titanic financial matter it used to be FOR THE TEAMS.I'd disagree to a certain extent. Yeah. I'm just thankful I have a way to watch Blues games for the time being. There's a lot that that the NHL can be criticized for but the deal with ESPN has made the games a lot more accessible than they were in years past.Oh, sorry if I was unclear, I mean it's not the titanic financial matter it used to be FOR THE TEAMS.
In 2008 or whatever, being on basic cable in the Chicago market versus being on a little-subscribed sports premium tier was a matter of hundreds of thousands of subscriber fees coming in every month.
That spread gets smaller every year. It's still significant though.
The economics of having the local media market able to watch the local team's game (which built the American sports empire) is totally collapsing.
Amazing since it seemed like 80% of the play was in our end.5 goals, 3 on the power play last night. Team looking much better.
I only caught the first period and it sure seemed like they were in their own zone a lot.Amazing since it seemed like 80% of the play was in our end.
